Intended Parent Process

We Guide New Parents

If you’re new to the process of becoming a parent through surrogacy, you probably have a lot of questions about the steps involved in selecting your surrogate, the costs of surrogacy, and what the requirements are for surrogacy programs. We work to connect intended parents with the best surrogates to achieve their family goals, and help families by providing them with tailored surrogacy services to successfully navigate the complicated financial, medical, and legal environment of surrogacy in Texas. By following the steps we’ve outlined below, intended parents can better understand the surrogacy process including initial consultation, matching with your surrogate, the intended parent review, pregnancy, and finally, starting the journey of parenthood with your new child. No matter what stage of the process you are in, we would love to connect with you and help you become the star of your surrogacy journey.

Beginning The Surrogacy Process

The best way to get started is to establish a close relationship with our team of surrogacy experts. Every state has its own unique policies and programs related to surrogacy. Thus, past experience with surrogacy does not always prepare intended parents for the challenges specific to Texas. Setting up a consultation with our team saves you from wasting time and money from attempting this process on your own. We will answer your questions, and help prepare you for the journey you are about to take. Additionally, we offer you guidance and protection from individuals or companies that may try to take advantage of inexperienced parents.

Screening potential surrogates, testing for compatibility, and matching you with the perfect person to carry your child are some of the most important steps in this stage of your journey. We take this stage very seriously, choosing to work within a close network of credible surrogates who perform their role with respect, professionalism, dedication, and love. Developing a comfortability and trust with your surrogate is possible through this phase as you begin to review candidates and eventually select the one you feel is most suited to enter into a surrogacy contract with. This person will be a new part of your life for nine months, so it’s important to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Surrogates are required to attend scheduled visits with medical professionals who specialize in monitoring their health before and during the pregnancy of your child. These doctors will conduct a comprehensive screening, check for proper medication use, and perform other procedural services that we will help arrange for you. This includes the final transfer of the embryo. Additionally, this is the phase of your journey when you will need to workout a surrogacy contract to ensure all parties are protected and fairly compensated. Our experienced legal contacts will directly assist you with drafting this contract.

Pregnancy & Parenthood

Successful pregnancies are the result of a positive, supportive relationship between you and your surrogate. Establishing regular communication with them, and with the hospital where your baby will eventually be born, can help their delivery run smoothly. We encourage parents to prepare in advance for this important day by developing a birth plan of their expectations and, also, having their parental rights established before the child is born. Your surrogacy journey is almost over! Now, it’s time to welcome your child into the world!

You are a parent now! Once your baby is born, they are yours to take home and begin your happy life together. Our greatest joy as an agency is knowing we could help unite you and your baby for the first time. Now, the rest is up to you!
